On the anniversary of September 11th America was attacked in a vicious, brutal and degrading way. The difference is that this time the US government is apologizing, excusing and minimizing the attacks.
This is not the America I know.
The US was quick to report that their ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, was “killed in a rocket attack in the eastern city of Benghazi along with three other embassy staff”. That would be an unfortunate but swift, “clean” death however a quick Google search shows uncensored images of the mob lynching Chris Stevens. It is said that possibly he was sodomized beforehand.
There is nothing more degrading and brutal. This is a direct attack on the honor and dignity of America.
And in response the US government runs out and quickly denounces the video that is now being used as an excuse to attack Americans.
Attacks on American embassies across the Middle East and particularly the horrific attack in Benghazi came on the anniversary of 9/11.
Americans might have already forgotten the meaning of that date – the Arab world, obviously has not.
